Accutane.

What is it?

Accutane adalah sejenis vitamin A. (yang warna ungu tu)Ia mengurangkan jumlah minyak yang dikeluarkan oleh kelenjar minyak di kulit anda, dan membantu kulit anda memperbaharui dirinya dengan lebih cepat.

Accutane digunakan untuk merawat jerawat nodular yang teruk. Ia biasanya diberikan selepas ubat-ubatan jerawat lain atau antibiotik telah diuji tanpa rawatan gejala yang berjaya.

Accutane juga boleh digunakan untuk tujuan lain yang tidak disenaraikan dalam panduan ubat ini.

So, this medical treatment is not highly recommended to anda-anda yang tidak mempunyai masalah jerawat yang teruk. But for those yang breakout teruk ,like me, and takut nak guna product2 lain dah, boleh gi jumpa doktor, sbb tu lah yang sebaiknya. Btw, ubat yang saya dapat tu hanya boleh didapati daripada doktor, tiada di farmasi sebab ubat ni boleh bawa kesan buruk tau. 😮

Accutane boleh menyebabkan kecacatan kelahiran yang teruk dan mengancam nyawa. Jangan gunakan Accutane sekiranya anda mengandung.

Wanita yang berpotensi mengandung anak mesti bersetuju secara bertulis untuk menggunakan dua bentuk kawalan kelahiran tertentu dan menjalani ujian kehamilan yang biasa sebelum, semasa, dan selepas mengambil isotretinoin.

Jangan mengambil suplemen vitamin yang mengandungi vitamin A semasa mengambil isotretinoin. Jangan mendonorkan darah semasa mengambil Accutane dan sekurang-kurangnya 30 hari selepas anda berhenti mengambilnya.

Side effects of Accutane

Accutane (isotretinoin) adalah retinoid yang digunakan untuk rawatan dan pencegahan jerawat yang teruk. Kesan sampingan yang paling umum Accutane adalah:

• kulit kering,
• gatal-gatal,
• ruam,
• hidung kering,
• mimik,
• retak di sudut mulut,
• mulut kering,
• bibir kering,
• retak atau mengelupas kulit,
• keradangan kulit putih,
• mata kering,
• sakit sendi,
• sakit belakang,
• pening,
• mengantuk,
• kegelisahan, atau
• perubahan dalam kuku atau kuku jari anda.

Dos yang disyorkan Accutane adalah 0.5 hingga 2 mg per kg berat badan setiap hari. Accutane boleh berinteraksi dengan steroid, ubat penyitaan, atau antibiotik tetracycline.

What side effect did i experience??

First and foremost bibir kering. 

My lips also bleeding sometimes bila dia terlalu kering. I already put vaseline a few minutes ago, and my lip will turn to dessert after that few minutes, how bad is it. I also drank like a gallon of water but the result will be the same. lip dry. This pills is hella strong. Beside of dry lips, i also experienced hair loss. My friend say i resembles king coco since my hair loss at the infront ( * if u know king coco). Everytime i comb my hair , there will be a lot of hair gugur . A L O T. My hair also became really nipis while taking those pills. I also experienced gatal2 , but these just like sometime je. Mata kering also happened to me, which kalau kering sangat tu , kena cepat2 letak air skit2 atau basuh muka , kalau tak,, sakit do. Mengantuk tu memang dah selalu , so takleh included la dalam ni.Mental problem ade la skit like depressed, no confident, insecurities and many else.I think tu je kut yang saya alami sepanjang ambil ubat ini. Lupa nak tambah, my skin type used to be oily , but when taking this pills, my skin not oily anymore. I think it become normal or a lil bit dry. But im love it. Takdela rasa mcam boleh goreng telur ha kat muka , minyak teroks. (but after finished those pills, my skin back to normal now) *that oily one but not as oily as before*

How i'm taking that pills?

By prescription from doctor, im taking 20 mg per day after eating. And there also another pill for antibiotics.Im taking both at once. I used to  be really scared taking medicine . I mean the pills one. It is because , when i was little but not so little , i was strangled while taking pill. And since then im never take pill medicine unless i open them and dissolved in water. WHAT? tak pahit ke? Euw.

this is everyone around me react when i told to them about this. After knowing i must to that those pills , my mother insisted me to take normally like other (the telan way). My friend also help me sometime . lol. After a week experienced with the pills. Now , im no more scared to telan those ubat!. Btw from my research, we are not recommended to open those capsule ( like my way ,larut2 way)because the capsule is made to make sure our prescription is not overdose. (something like that la ) i dont really sure since im didnt remember the more details about it.So Im taking those pills for about 2 months. Tbh, it cause RM 400 for 1+ months (for pills). Sometimes, im taking 10mg per day. I started taking pills on February and stopped on April. Two months progress was lit btw. <3 . Read my next post to see the progress!

The doctor also an experienced dermatologist since he is one of a specialist doctor in Pantai Hospital ( private hospital in Ipoh).Look trusted since he has such a baby face XD.( what i mean is ,his face is super clean ) . Btw , its quite priceyy at there. Consultation only already cost u RM 80. I spent about RM 700 at the clinic. *correction, my dad spent about RM 700 **sorry dad*
